SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Assemblyman Ted Gaines will host an Angora fire forum from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today in the South Lake Tahoe City Council Chambers at Lake Tahoe Airport, 1901 Airport Road.

Gaines will moderate a panel of local representatives from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, CalFire, the city of South Lake Tahoe, the U.S. Forest Service and more, according to an e-mail from Gaines’ Communications Director Jenna Nielsen.

The group will discuss what has been done since the 2007 fire and what still needs to be done to ensure homes are safe in the future, Nielsen said.
