GED test slated at high school

The General Educational Development test will be given on March 11 and 12, from noon to 4:30 p.m. both days, at South Tahoe High School, Building A, Room 4. The cost is $50 (money order only). Preregistration is recommended.

The GED tests are five exams in the areas of writing skills, social studies, science, literature and the arts, and mathematics. The questions in each of these tests require individuals to use general knowledge and thinking skills.

The tests can help many earn a high school equivalency diploma – a credential recognized as a key to employment opportunities, advancement, further education and financial rewards.
