Genoa Candy Dance coming

When one thinks of Genoa, the Candy Dance comes to mind, and when one thinks of the Candy Dance, Genoa comes to mind.

The Candy Dance will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 28 in Genoa, Nev. Music for dancing will be provided by the talented David John and the Comstock Cowboys. The dance and barbecue will start at 6 p.m. and the barbecue will be served until 8:30 p.m. Western attire is encouraged.

A limited number of ticket will be sold for the dance and complimentary barbecue supper at a price of $20 each. The cost for children under the age of 10 is $10. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Genoa Courthouse Museum, Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center, Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce, Tahoe-Douglas Chamber of Commerce, Heritage Bank of Nevada, Wild Rose Inn and Genoa Lakes.



Tickets also may be ordered by mail by sending a check for the number of people attending, telephone number and self-addressed business size envelope to Candy Dance, Town of Genoa, P.O. Box 14, Genoa, NV 89411. Visa and MasterCard will also be accepted. Sorry, no refunds.
