Tour ambassadors and Lake Tahoe residents Robin McElroy and Sarah Scott will conclude their tour of the country at home. They have visited 50-plus venues across the country over five months, inspiring tens of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts to get out and explore the great outdoors all winter long, according to an announcement for the event.

“The Get Out More Winter team is offering advice via an in-depth, 75-minute seminar designed to both inspire and educate,” according to the announcement. “The event will cover the unique challenges outdoor enthusiasts face while skiing, camping and backpacking, the specialized equipment designed specifically for winter outdoor adventures, and the current state of fashion in the outdoor industry.”

Participants will have the chance to win outdoor gear and apparel worth hundreds of dollars. The free event takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at Tahoe Sports Hub, at 10095 West River Street in Truckee.
