Get your tickets for the Barton Gala

Get dressed up for a great cause: The Barton Foundation’s 17th annual Gala at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe take place Oct. 11.

The Gala, Barton’s black-tie-optional event, has grown every year and is the largest fundraiser for the hospital’s foundation.

“This is my favorite event that the Barton Foundation puts on,” said Karen Conant, Gala Committee chairwoman. “I love that my husband and I can get dressed up and have an elegant and fun evening while raising money for the hospital. For businesses or people in the community who want to get involved, we have some unique Gala sponsorship opportunities still available, such as the Martini Luge, dessert sponsor, decoration sponsor and entertainment sponsor, as well as others,” she said.

“Creating unique sponsorships are a fun way for people to donate toward the event and advertise their business,” Conant added. “Table sponsorships are also extremely popular; tables seat 10 people, are decorated beautifully, and whether you sponsor a table or buy individual tickets, this is a lovely way to go out with friends and business associates, or meet new people while giving to a great cause that supports your community hospital.”

The silent auction, cocktail and hors d’oeuvres hour, which begins at 5:30 p.m., leads into the elegant dinner, an entertaining live auction, dancing and live entertainment by Busta-Groove from the Bay Area.

Table sponsorships are $1,650, and tickets are $150 per person ($85 of which is tax-deductible).

Contact the foundation to reserve a sponsorship, for an invitation, to make your reservations or for answers to questions. Foundation Coordinator Jaime Aust can be reached at (530) 543-5614.
