Going-away party set for Tahoe woman reunited with family

A going away party for longtime South Lake Tahoe resident Pepper Smith Christie will held at 2 p.m. today at 1022 Fairway Ave.

Christie, 40, is moving to Humboldt with her daughter Milan to attend Humboldt State University. Christie was recently reunited with her adoptive parents after she was kidnapped from their San Diego home at age 4.
