Grand opening to take place at Bijou Park Dog Agility Course

Bijou Park Dog Agility Course will host its grand opening Sunday.

The opening will be held at 1 p.m. The park features equipment for agility training for dogs. was a joint effort by members of the South Lake Tahoe Police Department Canine Unit, the City and Parks and Rec Department and Street Maintenance and Community, Sgt. Josh Adler said. Several people and businesses, including Sheila Edner of Chase Real Estate, Lukins Water District, Dr. Mireya Ortega of High Sierra Dentistry and El Dorado County K9 Association, made large donations which helped fund the park, he said.
