Grants available for local nonprofits that help women and children

The Reno/Carson/Tahoe Chaper of eWomenNetwork is accepting grant applications for its 2012 awards.

Grants will be awarded to nonprofits committed to improving the emotional and financial well-being of women and children in the community.

Winners will be flown to Dallas to participate in a grant program and gala on July 13. The program is designed as part of the eWomenNetwork International Conference and Business Expo, the largest four-day women’s business conference in North America.

Applicants must be localled based nonprofits that address issues of health, wellness or safety for underserved women and children. They must not be affiliated with national nonprofits.
