Grants to help kids sought

Starbucks is offering an opportunity for California nonprofits to participate in the first state-wide giving program. The program extends to every county in California and will showcase and support local nonprofit organizations and charitable agencies by awarding grants totaling up to $1 million.
All registered 501(c)3 eligible nonprofits with programs designed to help children and inspire grown-ups in California are encouraged to apply. Nonprofits have until March 13 to submit an online application at http://www.starbuckscalgiving.com. Only online applications will be accepted.
