Ground-breaking ceremony for ice rink

The South Lake Tahoe City Council will host a ground-breaking ceremony at 9 a.m. Monday for the South Lake Tahoe ice skating facility at 1176 Rufus Allen Blvd., next to the recreation complex.

The 37,000-square-foot structure, funded by voter-approved Measure S, is scheduled to be completed by the end of January.
