Group to talk about breathing problems

Better Breathers Support Group meets monthly to discuss matters to help members better cope with breathing problems and to learn ways to maximize health. Invited speakers are discuss related subjects and time is allowed for group discussions and questions regarding COPD including asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

The next meeting will be at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 15 in the arts and crafts room at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Speaker will be Kim Chatfield, LAC, OMD, former professor of acupuncture and clinical nutrition botanical medicine instructor at Lake Tahoe Community College.

The meeting will take place Tuesday only in August and will return to the regular schedule the third Wednesday of the month in September. The public is welcome and there is no cost.
