Provided to the Tribune

Don’t miss the last chance to catch “Guilty Pleasures” this weekend. The production will be presented Aug. 6, 7 and 8 at the Valhalla Boathouse Theater.

The smash hit musical – featuring local favorite tune “TRPA,” “50 on 50” and “Lake Tahoe Blues” – has been playing to packed houses in the third and final season. Called “the Velveeta of musicals,” this joke-filled look at life in Lake Tahoe has had audiences, locals and visitors alike howling with laughter.

A limited number of seats are still available for the closing weekend. Show times are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday with a 2 p.m. matinee Sunday.

The Valhalla Boathouse Theater is situated on the shore of Lake Tahoe, three miles north of the “Y” on State Route 89 just past Camp Richardson. Ticket prices are $15 in advance and $17 at the door. For a more complete festival schedule, more information or advance ticket sales contact the Tahoe Tallac Association at (530) 541-4975 or visit http://www.valhalla-tallac.com.
