Halloween carnival at Kahle Community Center

Provided to the Tribune

Come celebrate the spirit of make-believe, a sense of community and “spooktacular” happenings at a Douglas County Parks & Recreation Halloween Carnival. The free event is sponsored by Kiwanis of Lake Tahoe Sunrisers and happens from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Kahle Community Center, 236 Kingsbury Grade.

Festivities include a costume parade, carnival games, a musical creepy crawl, the “Great Pumpkin” egg hunt and lots of treats to guarantee a fun, safe and ghoulishly good time. Come dressed in costume and bring a goodie bag or bucket.

For more information, call Kahle Community Center at (775) 586-7271.
