Everyone is invited to come and celebrate the spirit of make-believe, a sense of community, and “spooktacular” happenings at a Halloween carnival. The free event is sponsored by Kiwanis of Lake Tahoe Sunrisers and will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at Kahle Community Center, 236 Kingsbury Grade.

Some of the festivities will include a costume parade, carnival games, a musical creepy crawl, the “Great Pumpkin” egg hunt and lots of treats to guarantee a “bootiful” fun, safe and ghoulishly good time. Come dressed in costume and bring a goodie bag or bucket.

For more information, call Kahle Community Center at (775) 586-7271.
