The Lizard King will live on at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe this weekend.

Strange Days, a tribute to the Doors, takes the stage in the casino’s Vinyl venue Saturday night.

“Strange Days is vocalist: Jason Tosta, guitarist: Robert Carsten, keyboardist: Michael Jacobson and drummer: Derek Smith,” according to the band’s online biography. “Together, they are perfect in both sound and look to form a Doors tribute act that successfully transports audiences back to another time and era.

“By combining vintage instruments with the latest technology, Strange Days offers both an authentic on-stage look and an unmistakable studio album sound. The result is truly a one-of-a-kind show that has packed venues all across the U.S.

“Strange Days has also had the honor of having Doors guitarist Robby Krieger join them onstage numerous times. Rarely, if ever, do tribute artists get to play with the actual legends to which they pay homage.”

Entrance to the show is $10 or free with the casino’s Backstage Pass program.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe is located at 50 U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline.
