SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — “It has been an absolute pleasure to Adopt A Day of Nourishment to host a Bread & Broth Monday Meal,” shared Rachelle Qutob, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Director of Sales and Catering.
Rachelle was joined at the Monday Meal on Oct. 24 by fellow Hard Rock team members Kelly Crossgrove, director of HR; Linda Hunt, executive assistant; Tom Russell, VP of food and beverages and business and Keyla Trejo, HR specialist.
Arriving at 3 p.m., the Hard Rock crew was anxious to get busy helping the B&B volunteers prepare the food giveaway bags and meal setup for when the dinner guests would be welcomed into St. Theresa’s Grace Hall for the dinner serving at 4 p.m. As with all of the AAD teams, the Hard Rock team manned the meal serving line which is the most rewarding part of hosting the meal. Interacting with the dinner clients is fun and a wonderful way to experience the gratitude and excitement of the those you are there to help.
As the evening meal was coming to a close, Rachelle again represented her fellow crew members.
“We look forward to the opportunity to continuously show our support and appreciation to this incredible organization and all those they support,” she said. “It matters.”
Bread & Broth appreciates the commitment that the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has made to partner in our efforts to ease hunger. We are thankful for their offer to donate dinner rolls for B&B’s Thanksgiving traditional holiday meal scheduled for Monday, Nov. 21 and look forward to their upcoming AAD sponsorship on Nov. 28.
