Harveys to host Tahoe Tattoo Show

Dozens of tattoo artists from the U.S. and around the world are scheduled to appear at a tattoo show at Harveys Lake Tahoe this weekend.

The Tahoe Tattoo Show runs from 2-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Entrance to the show for all three days costs $20.

Tattoo contests are planned Saturday and Sunday, with the winners receiving handmade prizes by Italian artist Andrea Lanzi and prizes from show sponsors. Categories include small tattoo, medium tattoo, large tattoo best of Saturday, best of Sunday and best of show. Registration for the tattoo contests is free with paid admission to the show.



Burlesque shows are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday.

Following Saturday’s portion of the show, an afterparty will take pace at McP’s Taphouse Grill across the street from Harveys.



A live auction of sketches from attending artists will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Vendors at the show included Gypsy Soul Glass, Lighted Ink, Saniderm, Tatsoul Tattoo Supply and Workhouse Irons.

The show is a sister convention of the Evian Tattoo Show in the French Alps.

Harveys is located at the corner of Stateline Avenue and U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline.
