Haunted attraction opens in campground

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – There’s about to be terror in Tahoe. A new haunted attraction opens this week in the El Dorado County Campground off Highway 50.

“What I’d like to see is a place where people can come hang out and enjoy Halloween, somewhere if you want some Halloween, you can get it,” said Steve Rozier, who’s been working on the Terror in Tahoe project.

Terror in Tahoe will feature a haunted maze, games and food and drink concessions. It will be open 7 p.m. to midnight, Thursday through Sunday, every week until Halloween. A grand opening will be held Oct. 14. Admission is $10 this weekend and $15 the other weekends.
