Health is focus of fun fest

The Kiwanis of Lake Tahoe Sunrisers club is sponsoring a great family event at Kahle Community Center on Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Bring your family and enjoy the benefits of physical activity.This free family day will be filled with games and activities plus practical, healthy refreshments.

A three-month membership pass will be raffled away.

There will be a Halloween scavenger hunt, miniature golf, and an obstacle course for children, in addition to games and face painting.

Instructors for jazzercise, pilates, yoga and personal trainers will present “sample” classes and fitness tips.

Barton Memorial Hospital will have a health booth. Physical therapists will be giving massages.

Jamba Juice and Tahoe Trail Bars will be providing samples of healthy snacks and drinks. Additionally, Kahle will be providing refreshments.

The indoor playground, bouncer, climbing wall and weight room will be available for everyone to use. Enjoy the benefits of health, fitness and family fun.
