Heart disease to be topic for support group

The Living With Diabetes support group is scheduled to meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to discuss diabetics’ risk of heart disease.

Two out of three people with diabetes have heart disease. Dr. Paula Crenshaw will present “Cut Your Risk for Heart Disease,” which will inform attendees how to make good choices to reduce the risk of heart disease.

The meeting will take place in Suite 6 of the Star Lake Professional Building at 2489 Lake Tahoe Blvd., at the corner of Lake Tahoe Boulevard and Lodi Avenue.

For more information, contact Barton’s Diabetes Service at (530) 543-5548.
