Heavenly Freestyle team competes at Sun Valley
SUN VALLEY, Idaho – Six Heavenly freestyle skiers traveled to Sun Valley over the weekend to compete in a regional event. There were two single mogul comps and two duals comps on the long and steep course.
Taryn Baker had three wins and a third. Gabi Fisher had two 6ths and 2 J4 wins. Zach Shearer did his first back flips in competition. Ally Sullivan had a second in J4s. Josh Sullivan had his best turns in a very tough course. Matt Sullivan, age 9, ripped down the course in moguls bigger than himself.
At Heavenly, Jesse Eliot won the first Southshore Showdown on Sunday, a slopestyle event. He threw a switch rodeo 540 and a 360 mute grab. Max Brejc placed second in the 14 and under with a front tuck to a misty 5.
