Heavenly Mountain Resort to open Stagecoach Chair on Saturday
Heavenly Mountain Resort announced Friday that it will begin operating the Stagecoach Chair and the base area starting Saturday morning.
Once open, Heavenly will be offering 128 acres for skiers and snowboarders, according to a press release. The Stagecoach Chair provides immediate access to intermediate terrain on the Nevada side of the mountain, providing an easy entrance point for Carson Valley guests.
Citing snow in the forecast later in the week, Heavenly expects to open additional terrain this month.
Heavenly has already opened the following lifts: Comet Chair, Dipper Chair, Tamarack Express, The Village Gondola, Big Easy, Tubing Lift, Red Fir Mitey Mite and Bear Cave Carpet.
