Help Tahoe children get outside

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Tahoe Environmental Education Coalition has scheduled two educational programs for the students from the Lake Tahoe Unified School District: “Outdoor Explore!” a field trip for kindergarten through second grade and “Trees Are Terrific,” for third through sixth grade.

The “Outdoor Explore!” field trip will include activities to teach students about the local environment. Students will participate in three stations: Trees Are Terrific, Animals Are Amazing, and Service Learning.

The “Trees Are Terrific” programs include activities to teach students about local forest health and ecology.
