Hetrick to address Republican Women
After being dark for July and August the Douglas County Republican Women will start their regular monthly meetings Sept. 5 at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden, Nev. The speaker will be Assemblyman Lynn Hettrick, who will discuss highlights of the last legislative session.
The meeting will start with a social hour at 11 a.m., following by a buffet at noon. The cost is $13 per person for reservations made before Sept. 3 and will be $15 after that date. It is not necessary to be a member of the club to attend and both men and women are available.
