High school student holding fundraiser to send hygiene products to Africa

Joemae Santos, a senior at South Tahoe High School is organizing and hosting a fundraising event for the nonprofit organization Health 2 Humanity for her senior project. Health 2 Humanity (H2H) was created by South Tahoe High School alumni John Cefalu. H2H provides hygiene products to places in Africa such as Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda. The event will be held May 9 from 5 to 8 p.m at Park 968 hotel. All proceeds will go directly to H2H. For more information email joemae.santos@gmail.com.
