Historic Tahoe recipes needed for new book
The North Lake Tahoe Historical Society is seeking culinary contributors.
The society is planning a collection of historical recipes (and the anecdotes surrounding them) for release this holiday season, and it needs the help of all Tahoe residents.
Any and all recipes will be considered for publication in the final book, “The Edible History of Tahoe.” Submissions are due by Oct. 10.
For more information, or to contribute, contact Danielle Kallbrier at the Gatekeeper’s Museum, 130 West Lake Blvd. in Tahoe City, call (530) 583-1762, e-mail dkallbriertahoe@sbcglobal.net, or visit http://TahoeCookBook.blogspot.com.
