Holiday ornaments sought for victims of Angora fire

People in South Lake Tahoe could make the holidays brighter by donating Christmas ornaments to families who lost their homes and belongings in the Angora fire.

In addition to ornaments, people can contribute other items such as wrapping paper, tissue paper, ribbon and tags. Items will be distributed right after Thanksgiving.

Donations may be dropped off at Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church, 2733 Lake Tahoe Blvd., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Call Lyla Dusing at (775) 588-1006 to arrange to have items picked up or to ask questions.
