Benefits are paid once per year. The amount of the benefit depends on household income and size, and the amount of your energy bill compared to your income.

The 2013 HEAP Program has several program changes this year. Applicants are asked to check online, by phone or in person for program guidelines and changes. HEAP Applications will only be accepted by appointment or at a community HEAP distribution sites.
