Home with Hollywood connections for sale on Tahoe’s North Shore

Fans of “The Godfather” trilogy have the chance to purchase part of a North Shore property showcased in the film series, provided they have a few million dollars to spare.

The Fleur du Lac Estates in Homewood were the backdrop for several scenes in Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Godfather Part II.”

The sprawling property was built by Henry Kaiser in 1938.

“In addition to constructing 17 residences, there were servants' quarters, small cottages, as well as his yacht club and boat house, both of which are still in use to this day,” Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty said in a statement.

Additional homes were added to the estate in the 1990s.

One of those properties at 4000 West Lake Boulevard is listed for sale on Sierra Sotheby’s website for $3,749,000. The 3,754 square-foot home includes three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a private boat slip.
