Horoscope for the week of Oct. 5, 2009

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Monday, Oct. 5, 2009:

This year, partnerships play a big role in your life. Often, you need to back off and take a look at what is going on. Most of the time, you will defer to others rather than create an uproar. Expect changes on the home front. You could be remodeling or selling your home! Your domestic life reflects a personal transformation. If you are single, a new person proves to be most significant to your life’s history. You could meet this person anytime now. If you are attached, refuse to be petty and fight over trivial matters. Let go and grow, respecting your differences. TAURUS understands you.

The Stars Show the Kind of Week You’ll Have: 5-Dynamic; 4-Positive; 3-Average; 2-So-so; 1-Difficult

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

*** Your mood changes once you walk into work. Monday blues might be the culprit, but you have a lot of ground to cover. It becomes apparent that you need to revise your thinking. Be more forthright with someone who impacts your work and thinking. This week: Pay bills.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

**** Once more, the Bull could drag his hoofs until he (or she) gets to work. You could be overwhelmed by options. Someone throws you a curveball. A wise move when faced with “news” is to explore all your options. This week: What you want.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

*** Know when to back off and allow others to run with the ball. Do needed research that is less people-driven. Others could change their path out of the blue. A partner might want to revise his or her agreement — financially or emotionally. Say little; listen well. This week: Talks over dinner.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

**** Zero in on what you want. What you think you want might not be what is presented. You could refocus on your goals and see how to avoid a snafu. What is clear is that you cannot control someone, no matter what. Differences add spice. This week: Where the action is.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

**** Take charge and be ready to move in a new direction or start anew. If you want to take a break, do. Nothing will disappear, but you will feel better and renewed. Be willing to revamp a project if that path would work better ultimately. Shortcuts in general won’t work. This week: A must appearance.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

***** Reach out for new ideas and concepts. The information that heads in your direction could open up doors and allow another perspective, permitting new thinking. Don’t worry — your choices are grounded. This week: Allow more fun in.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

**** One-on-one relating could produce new information. Back off and rethink a project or situation. A domestic or personal matter could be far more significant than you originally thought. Take care of your property. This week: Share a favorite meal.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

***** Others could be challenging and open up door after door. Your ability to absorb criticism and revamp your ideas emerges. Don’t personalize a boss’s mood. It could be just the way it is. Think positively. This week: Sort through your options.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

*** Pace yourself in order to get work done. A financial matter shouldn’t be ironed out just yet. Consider the fact that much is still coming in — new facts and details — that could encourage another choice. Investigate your options carefully. This week: Your treat.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

**** You might note a lot of changes going on inside you. Though you might want to be assertive and direct, it might not serve you well. Knowing what is going on within, slow down. If you are not in touch with these feelings, don’t jump the gun. This week: Allow your imagination to play out.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

*** Listen to family. Understand what is happening underneath. Family and personal matters need to come forward. Often you are into your friends or work. Stop. Indulge those closest to you. This week: Head home and relax.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

**** Communication flourishes. Understand what is happening with a friend. This person could be reversing him- or herself and could be emotional. You cannot put this person in a category right now. Revise your plans accordingly. This week: Make time to visit with friends.
