Hospital hires new foundation director
August 7, 2008
The Barton Foundation hired Kindle Craig as its executive director July 7.
Craig, has an extensive resume, including managing marketing communications for Apple’s entire product line. Since 2002, Craig has been an independent marketing consultant based in Zephyr Cove.
“We are very excited to have Kindle assume the leadership role of the hospital foundation,” said John Williams, chief executive officer of Barton Memorial Hospital.
A local businesswoman, Craig assumes the duties of Linda Thompson, who retired as foundation and public relations vice president in May.
Since Thompson’s departure, the title of the position has changed: There no longer will be a vice president of public relations and foundation, and two directors will share the responsibilities. Barton earlier named Monica Sciuto director of public relations and marketing.
