Huntington-Smithmier to be married in September

Provided to the Tribune The Tahoe couple will be married in Meyers on Sept. 25.

Christina Huntington and Matthew Smithmier have announced their engagement and are making plans to be married Sept. 25 at Meyers, Calif.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Brenda Huntington of Hayward, Calif., and George Huntington of Roseberg, Ore. A graduate of Marshall High School at Petaluma, Calif., she is a manager at Tahoe Paradise Video.

The future bridegroom is the son of Mary Smithmier-Weeks of Columbia, Mo., and Dale Smithmier of Winter Haven, Fla. He graduated from Marshall High School at Marshall, Mo., and attended North East Missouri State University at Kirksville, Mo. He is a manager at Emerald Bay Towing.
