I. Jean Dahle

Memorial services will take place Aug. 14 for I. Jean Dahle, who died Aug. 7, 2004, at Evergreen Care Center in Carson City, Nev. She was 86.

Jean was born May 30, 1918, in Wisconsin to Richard George Heddon and Pansy Linton. She married Alfred M. Dahle June 30, 1939, at Winsor, Wis., and had been a secretary for Lockheed. She had lived in Wisconsin, Burbank and Bakersfield, Calif., and had been a resident of Glenbrook, Nev., for the past 29 years. She was an avid photographer. Jean loved music at church and played the piano and marimba for church since the age of 12. She was a believer and follower of Jesus Christ and was a 26-year member of Tahoe Community Church.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred M. Dahle of Glenbrook; son, Gary Loken Dahle of Eugene, Ore; grandsons, Todd Loken Dahle and Tucker Loken Dahle, both of Oregon; and goddaughter, Susan Norby. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Irene Klabundie and Ruth Stephenson.

Memorial services will begin at 1 p.m. Aug. 14 at Tahoe Community Church, Kingsbury Grade and Daggett Lane.

Arrangements are by Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society, Carson City.
