The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena will be offering another curling orientation and clinic from 1-3 p.m. June 12 at the arena, 1176 Rufus Allen Blvd.

Curling is an Olympic sport similar to shuffleboard played on ice. Although it is often played with significant strategy and skill, it can be enjoyed by all ages after a short lesson. The aim of the class is to develop enough players to offer a league this fall.

Prepare yourself by visiting http://www.curlingbasics.com to learn the fundamentals of the game. Cost is $12 and enrollment is limited.

Register by visiting the arena or calling (530) 542-6262.
