Ida A. Curcio

A memorial Mass was celebrated Monday at St. Theresa Catholic Church for Ida A. Curcio, who died Feb. 7, 2006, on her 81st birthday.

She was born in 1925 in Rochester, N.Y., moved to Southern California in 1953 and to South Lake Tahoe in 1987. Ida worked in the gift shop at Harveys Hotel & Casino for 16 years and at Caesar’s Tahoe gift shop for three years. She was well-liked by all who knew her.

She is survived by daughter, Peggy Linder of South Lake Tahoe; brother, John L. Bertola of Rochester, N.Y.; sisters, Diana Van Houten of Southern California and Linda Raty of Redding, Calif.; grandchildren, Deana Steiner, Michael Linder, Ronnie Curcio, Johnny Curcio, Raina Curcio and Christopher Curcio and great-grandchildren, Melania Steiner and Joshua Linder.



Arrangements were by McFarlane Mortuary.
