A memorial Mass will be celebrated Feb. 13 for Ida A. Curcio, who died Feb. 7, 2006, on her 81st birthday.

She was born Feb. 7, 1925, in Rochester, N.Y., moved to Southern California in 1953 and to South Lake Tahoe in 1987. Ida worked in the gift shop at Harveys Hotel & Casino for 16 years and at Caesar’s Tahoe gift shop for three years. She was well liked by all who knew her.

She is survived by daughter, Peggy Lindner of South Lake Tahoe; brother, John L. Bertola of Rochester, N.Y.; sisters, Diana Van Houten of Southern California and Linda Raty of Redding, Calif.; grandchildren, Deanna Steiner, Michael Lindner, Ronnie Curcio, Johnny Curcio, Raina Curcio and Christopher Curcio; and great-grandchildren, Melania Steiner and Joshua Curcio.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Feb. 13 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1041 Lyons Ave., South Lake Tahoe.

Arrangements are by McFarlane Mortuary.
