International Gold, Silver, and Diamond Buyers coming to south shore

Staff reports

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The International Gold, Silver, and Diamond Buyers will be making a stop in South Lake Tahoe Sept. 19 -24 at the Quality Inn & Suites, located at 3838 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

The show hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday.

The IGSDB will be purchasing coins, paper currency, gold and silver on behalf of their global network of collectors, dealers and refineries. This special event is free and open to the public.

“We hope to spend at least $200,000 while we are in town, purchasing people’s old coin collections, vintage bank notes and scrap gold, silver and diamonds,” said IGSDB spokesman Ron Smith. “It’s been all over the news – gold and silver are trading at record highs – and people everywhere are scrambling to cash in.”

Traveling from small towns to large cities, the IGSDB hosts hundreds of events each year where local residents are encouraged to bring in their precious metals, diamonds and paper money to earn extra cash.

While meeting one-on-one with each guest, the IGSDB specialists review, research and evaluate the items and will make an offer to purchase all gold coins, silver coins made before 1965 and paper money printed prior to 1934.

The amount of the offer depends on the silver or gold content, the collectability, the rarity and the condition of the items. If the guest decides to accept the offer made, a check will be issued on the spot.
