Investigators await results of autopsy

The results of an autopsy of a man found floating in a Keys’ lagoon were not available Wednesday night.

The autopsy was performed in Auburn Wednesday at 10 a.m. A semi-automatic gun was found in water close to the body. Results of the autopsy may reveal if the man committed suicide or was murdered.

Investigators believe the decomposed body is 57-year-old Robert Barr.

Barr, a resident of Portland, Ore., was married to Rebecca Barr, a 45-year-old woman found shot to death in the woods near Fallen Leaf Lake March 26.

Last week investigators were in Oregon trying to locate Robert Barr and talk to him about the death of his wife.

Three boys in a canoe found the body Monday at 6:45 p.m. What they thought was a beaver’s nest turned out to be a bloated man wearing a tuxedo.
