Incline Village General Improvement District Board of Trustees selects officers for 2019

The Incline Village General Improvement District Board of Trustees will maintain most of its officer leadership from the previous calendar year.
At their meeting Wednesday, trustees selected Kendra Wong to continue serving as board chair and Trustee Philip Horan to continue serving as vice chair. Additionally, Trustee Peter Morris will continue serving as treasurer.
All three trustees held those same positions this previous year.
The suggestion to maintain the top officer positions came from Morris.
The only change in officer positions came from trustees Matthew Dent and Tim Callicrate.
Dent, who previously served as secretary, suggested allowing Callicrate to serve as secretary, which the board agreed with.
Under the structure of the board, four of the five trustees serve in officer positions.
Approval of the 2019 officer positions was unanimously approved by trustees. On contentious issues, the board tends to split on a 3-2 vote with Dent and Callicrate in the minority.
The officer terms are through Dec. 31.
