IVGID seeks applicants to fill Horan’s open seat on board

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Incline Village General Improvement District is seeking applications from qualified individuals interested in serving on the Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees aims to appoint a candidate from a pool of applicants to fill an open seat for a term-length of approximately one year. The seat becomes unfilled upon the resignation of Trustee Phil Horan, effective Dec. 16.

Interested candidates are asked to submit a letter of interest and resume to District Clerk Susan Herron no later than noon Dec. 2. Applicant materials can be mailed or hand delivered to Herron at the IVGID offices, 893 Southwood Blvd., or emailed to sah@ivgid.org. Candidates are also required to complete a declaration form, which must be notarized.

Candidate interviews are scheduled to take place during a special meeting at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 17 and maybe Dec. 18 at the Chateau, 955 Fairway Blvd. During this special meeting, the trustees are agendized to select a candidate and vote to make an appointment.

Following the appointment, the new trustee will take the oath of office and immediately begin serving the term.
