Jeanne Marie Bottini

Private family services were conducted for Jeanne Marie Bottini, who died peacefully April 10, 2006, at Carson Tahoe Hospital, following a short illness.

Jeanne was born Feb. 12, 1916, in San Francisco, and moved to Marin County to raise her family. She and her husband, Frank Bottini, purchased a vacation home in Tahoe in 1964. They retired and made it their permanent home in 1973, and Jeanne lived at Tahoe until January 2006. She loved to fish at Caples Lake in the summer, adored her dog, Jezebel, and spent most of her time during the summer tending her garden.

She is survived by sons, George and Richard Bottini; grandchildren, Mark Bottini, Robyn Guthrie, Jennifer Mendonca, Geoff Bottini and Josh Bottini; and great-grandchildren, McKenna and Wyland Guthrie and Natalie and Matthew Mendonca.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Bottini.
