Jimenez earns license

Manuel Jimenez has just completed the requirements for his Marriage and Family Therapist License. Jimenez has been working in the El Dorado County Department of Mental Health at South Lake Tahoe for the past 51/2 years.

He also volunteers as a therapist at the Family Resource Center, is a member of the South Lake Tahoe Latino Affairs Commission, an active member of the Democratic Party, a board member for the Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation, a commissioner on the Juvenile Justice Commission and a member of the Lake Tahoe Federal Advisory Committee.

Jimenez received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. John Seminary College at Camarillo, Calif., and his master’s degree in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University at Santa Clara, Calif. He worked in the Santa Cruz Department of Mental Health for four years.



His accomplishments have made the Latino community very proud.
