Job fair for veterans to be held Wednesday
The Nevada Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation and Nevada JobConnect will host a special career fair aimed at helping veterans obtain employment.
The Veterans Only Career Expo will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the National Guard Armory at 685 East Plumb Lane in Reno.
“Employers from a variety of industries will be on hand to interview veterans who are ready to work,” said Kathie Holbrook, manager of the Nevada JobConnect office in Reno.
“Veterans should come dressed for success with a polished résumé, ready to interview with these businesses.”
