John Joseph McCann
Memorial services will take place Saturday for John Joseph McCann, 77, who died Sept. 23, 2007, at Evergreen Healthcare in Carson City, Nev.
John was born Sept. 24, 1929, in Camden, N.J., to John J. McCann and Grace Kelly. A 25-year resident of Carson City, he previously lived in Anaheim, Calif. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked in the gaming industry. John enjoyed listening to jazz, dancing and was a football enthusiast. He was a member of Lake Tahoe Christian Fellowship in South Lake Tahoe.
He is survived by sons, Daniel McCann of Redlands, Calif., Jim McCann of Kiev, Ukraine, Gary MCann of Anaheim, Calif., and John McCain of Alpine, Calif.; daughters, Colleen Logsdon of Louisville, Ky., and Donna McCann of Carson City; brothers Ray McCann of New Jersey; sister, Colleen Tanzi of Maryland; and 14 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and one sister.
Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. Sept. 29 at Lake Tahoe Christian Fellowship, 3580 Blackwood Road.
Arrangements are by FitzHenry’s Funeral Home in Carson City.
