Kahle Center offers classes

Kahle Community Center, 236 Kingsbury Grade, is offering the following classes that are new at the center.

Dog Obedience — The class will be taught by Guy Yeaman on Thursdays from 7 to 8 p.m. starting Feb. 27 at Kingsbury Middle School. The cost is $65. The commands of obey, heel, stay, sit, stand and recall will be taught.

Scrapbook Workshop — Family Heritage offers scrapbook pages designed to showcase special family photos. The class is taught from 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 4 at the center. The cost is $18.



Cardio Kickboxing — The six-week class will meet at 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday starting March 5. Instructor is Andrea Adams and the cost is $40 or $8 drop-in fee.

Afro-Cuban Dance — For ages 15 and up. The four-week class will start March 4. The class offers an emphasis on rhumba, comparsa and orisha dance style.
