Katherine "Grandma K." Friedlieb

Katherine “Grandma K.” Friedlieb, the daughter of Earl and Elizabeth Guertin, a native of Springfield, Mass., and resident of Lynn Haven, Fla., died Monday, March 17, in Panama City, Fla. She was 83 years old.

She was a retired waitress and long time resident of New Haven, Conn., and Stateline, Nev. Katherine also resided in Albany, Ga., before relocating to Florida.

She is survived by a son, Robert Earl Friedlieb Sr., of Mobile, Ala.; grandchildren, Robert Friedlieb Jr. and wife Jennifer of Colquitt, Ga.; and Kerri Toth and husband Taylor of Lynn Haven, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Riley and Gavin Friedlieb and Austin and Jillian Toth; sisters, Shirley Monahan, of Huron, Ohio, June Morrone of New Haven, Conn., Ruth Manuel of Laughlin, Nev., and Patricia Fischer, of Lake Tahoe, Calif. Katherine is preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Holmes, of Lake Tahoe, Calif., and a grandson Kenneth “Buddy” Kulas Jr.

Visitation will be at Southerland Family Funeral Home, 100 E. 19th Street, Panama City, FL, Saturday, March 22, from 9-10 a.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 10 a.m. The burial will be at Floral Memory Gardens, 120 Old Pretoria Road, Albany, GA at 4 p.m. E.S.T.
