Keith LeRoy Harman

Private services are planned for Keith LeRoy Harman, who passed away May 9, 2006, at his home in South Lake Tahoe.

Keith was born July 27, 1926, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and was raised in Omaha, Neb. He moved to Los Angeles, where he began to raise his family, continued his music career and established his own record label. He was an award-winning musician who wrote, published, produced and performed his own music.

He also won an award for a musical score at an international film festival. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

After many years of family vacations to Lake Tahoe, Keith retired to spend his golden years in “paradise,” where he enjoyed daily interaction with his family. He was a South Lake Tahoe resident for more than five years.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Paula; sons, Keith and Mark; daughter, Gabrielle; daughter-in-law, Sylvia; grandson, Keith Jr.; and granddaughters, Michelle, Beth and Kristine; along with the many friends from all walks of life who loved and respected him. He was preceded in death by daughter, Michelle.

Keith was a lover of animals, and in lieu of flowers his wish was that donations be made in his name to the Lake Tahoe Humane Society, P.O. Box PET, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96158.
