Kim William Woodman

A private memorial service is planned for Dec. 17 for Kim William Woodman, who died of liver cancer Nov. 28, 2005, at his home in Edgewater, Fla. He was 51.

Kim was born July 20, 1954, at Lansing, Mich. He was a resident of South Lake Tahoe from 1991 to 2001, before moving to Florida. He worked as a steamfitter and plumbing refrigeration engineer and was a maintenance engineer for JMC Corp. at the Minorca Condominium, New Smyma Beach, Fla. Kim was an avid golfer, baseball player and football lineman. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and downhill skiing.

He loved the mountains and the lake and considered Lake Tahoe his favorite place to be.

He is survived by son, Kevin Woodman of South Lake Tahoe; daughter, Kari Woodman of Sparks, Nev.; parents, Stanley and Joan Woodman of Gaylord, Mich.; brother, Kirt Woodman of Paradise, Calif.; and sisters, Kelly LaMotte of Edgewater and Karen Woodman of Salt Lake City, Utah.
