Kinder Kup is set for Sunday

Provided to the Tahoe Daily Tribune. All children 6 and younger are encouraged to come out for a fun day of ski racing on Sunday at Heavenly Mountain Resort. Racing begins at 10 a.m. on World Cup Run.

The second race of the Kinder Kup Series is set for Sunday at the Heavenly Ski Resort for children 6 and younger.

Youths of all abilities are encouraged to come out for a fun day of racing. They can have assistance down the course and do not have to have previous gate racing experience or belong to a team.

There are awards for everyone along with barbecue and baked goods. Come out and cheer the kids on.

Racing begins at 10 a.m. on World Cup Run, next to Heavenly’s California tram.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. the morning of the race and the cost of $15 includes a child lift ticket for World Cup chair only. Parents must have a season pass or purchase a lift ticket to ride World Cup chair.
