Kinder Kup race series returns

Heavenly Ski and Snowboard Foundation will host its third annual ski series for children ages 6 and younger beginning Dec. 29.

Kinder Kup is an annual race series that takes place at Heavenly Ski Resort at the base of World Cup. The other dates are Feb. 15 and March 9. No prior racing experience is required. Many of the children who participate in Kinder Kup skied as toddlers in front of their parents on leashes.

Following the race, a barbecue and raffle are scheduled. All participants will receive medals.



The entry fee is $15 per race and includes life ticket for the World Cup chair. Advance registration is preferred and racing begins with practice runs at 9:30 a.m. The race start time is 10 a.m. with two timed runs. There are combined times for placing and no affiliation is required..
